Spring! First Garden Meeting of 2014 on April 27

After a long winter, it's finally spring! Don't forget that the first garden meeting and work day of 2014 is scheduled for Sunday, April 27, at 11 am. If you're interested in becoming a member of the Summit Street Garden, attend the meeting for an orientation.

Crocuses—the first sign of spring—were out last weekend.

It looks like a hopeful squirrel tried to plant a peanut tree in my plot.

I bought this rock garden iris after our fall bulb sale.

And here's a crocus and iris mix.

This past weekend, the hyacinths were out.

The daffodils and tulips are also making an appearance. Enjoy the weather! See you in the garden soon!
